With its exceptional geographical position in the central Adriatic and professional design, Marina Kastela is a safe haven for private and charter yachts. It is also a pleasant place where you can spend your holidays enjoying the Mediterranean climate - dry and warm in the summer and humid and mild in the winter. The marina is connected to neighboring cities by a network of state roads and highways, and with all European countries - by rail, bus and ferry. From here you can get to almost anywhere in the world, because Split Airport is only 7 km away. Also a huge plus is that the marina is located close to the central islands of the Adriatic, which provide its natural protection. Trogir is an important tourist and cultural-historical center of central Dalmatia. A drawbridge connects the city with the Ciovo Peninsula. In the past, Trogir managed to visit the Greek colony, the Roman harbor and the city of Croatian-Hungarian kings. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why there are so many attractions: the fortress wall, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with the sculptural portal of the master Radovan (13th century), the chapel of Ivan Ursini, the Benedictine monastery, the clock tower and much more. Also, a summer festival is held here annually.
The calm landscape and the Mediterranean climate of Rogoznica have provided a safe and comfortable life with picturesque views for local residents from ancient times. This area has long been suitable for the creation of settlements. In recent years, fragments of ceramics, amphora, tiles, and coins have been discovered. From these artifacts, scientists concluded that life in this area flourished, especially in antiquity and late antiquity. For the most ancient data on the Rogoznica region, we must thank the Greek sailor named Skylaks from Krajanda, who lived in the first half of the 4th century BC. According to his findings, two Illyrian tribes lived on the coast between Krka and Cetina: in the northern part, on a peninsula supposedly smaller than the Peloponnese, the city and port of Heracles were home to a tribe called the healy.
Pirovac is a small resort with a fishing pier located at the bay of the same name, 20 km northwest of the center of the Sibenik Riviera near the historic city of Sibenik.
Initially, the name of the settlement was Zloselo, and it was changed in the 20s. 20th century. The main attraction of the resort Pirovac is the church of St. George (Sveti Juraj). But you can go to the neighboring island of St. Stefan (Sustipanac) to see the ruins of a Franciscan monastery of the 16th century. The Pirovac resort provides excellent bathing opportunities. You can find wonderful pebble beaches with a convenient entrance to the water in the bays of Vrulje, Vrilo, Sitnitsa or Makirina. In the latter there are also places with healing mud.
