Gladuša is known as the "Happiest regatta" on the Adriatic, according to sailors' stories, because besides the regatta itself there is a lot of extra events connected with the regatta, such as: Donkey music, the island's products fair, interesting rewards and finally a crazy evening entertainment-island "take it easy" spirit!
The race is among the first races of this type, it takes place in the beautiful archipelago, the route is short but interesting and every year more and more sailing boats are participating. According to the number of participants, Gladuša regatta is on the 4th place, which is a huge success for such a young regatta. Sailing club GUC SALI is organizer, and interesting fact is that everyone is a volunteer in organization, and all the village has been involved in the whole organization. We told you: ISLAND SPIRIT! FANTASTIC!!! Instead of the numbers on the sailboat, old "mudants"(underpants) are used as a sign of the team - the sailors must wear them to be able to finish the race!FUNNY :) There are so many interesting things that can´t be described in words ... and especially the atmosphere that runs that weekend in Sali (Dugi Otok). You have no other than to come and feel the regatta ...We are sure you will not regret it! Lets celebrate 10th birthday of Gladuša in 2019.
